Fast forward to 2016......I recently painted one of our bathrooms and used BM Balboa Mist paint which is a great griege. I haven't blogged about this but here is a pic of the bathroom finished. I painted over the stripes that I did back in 2010:
So, since I had paint leftover from that project and I've been wanting to get rid of the yellow from the fireplace, I decided on a whim to gray wash it. Actually was pretty easy to do and finished it on a Sunday afternoon. I used about 1/2 paint to 1/2 water and painted it on with a brush. I then rubbed it with a rag to smooth it out.
