Spring paint project!

I blogged a while ago about wanting to change the paint in our family room.  After taking this pic to show our new entry light, I decided the khaki color needed to go and something brighter & lighter was needed:

Happy to say that it is all painted gray now. The kitchen is painted the same color which is Valspar Notre Dame.  The dining room is painted a shade darker and it is Valspar Granite Dust.  Here is a pic of the paint chip:

The lighter color makes the room look a lot bigger. Loving gray right now.

Opening Day - Pt 2

Here is a video of the Budweiser hitch from last Monday's opening day.  This is behind the Western Woods shopping center where they were getting all ready to head downtown for the parade!

Opening Day!

The Cincinnati Reds had opening day last Monday vs the Angels.  Bad news is they lost. The good news is the Budweiser Clydesdales were in town for the parade.  I have talked about them before on the blog because when they come in town, they stay at the farm up the street from us.  They were here for almost a week before the parade to get the horses acclimated to the barn and the surroundings.  

After the game, there is always a big party and the horses are in the stalls for all to see!  Here are some pics of them getting ready for the parade. For those in-towners, these pics were taken behind the Western Woods shopping center where they were harnessed and lined up:

Bath Time?

Do you take a bath? I do just about every single night!
