A visit to Baltimore, MD!

Last weekend, we were off to Baltimore MD for the NEQ volleyball qualifier. If you aren't familiar with the club volleyball scene, its' a whole 'nother world just like blogging!  We stayed in the downtown harbour area so we were in walking distance to the convention center where the tournament was held.  Our hotel was awesome & had so many interesting design elements that I decided to get my camera man (thanks Jack!) to take a few great shots.

The gold painted twig seemed to be the design inspiration for the lobby area.

The branch theme was carried through in the wall elements behind the white glass jars.

As well as the carpet below:

A gorgeous contemporary light fixture:

Red leather mirror in the labyrinth pattern:

Moving to the hotel rooms, there seemed to be two contrasting themes: wavy pattern and strong lines.  The wave pattern was evident in the wallpaper:

The carpet:

As well as in the sheers. Loved the nailhead chair and swirl fabric.

Loved the clean lines of this stainless floor lamp and
white linen drum shade:

Nice geometric pattern on the bed comforter:

Clean straight lines of the massive headboard:

This gorgeous black chunky mirror:

Outside the lawn furniture made its' own statement:

Across the street from our hotel was the Pier 5 Hotel. We loved the curves of this massive awning:

It was a gorgeous weekend in Baltimore. Hope you enjoyed our visit!
